SeshBot2026.11

seshbots.com, rebuilt: one design system, light mode, a dashboard that shows everything

Every page on a shared component library with dark and light modes, a dashboard that exposes every setting the bot has, social cards and search metadata on every page, a changelog you can subscribe to, and Next 16 behind a strict Content-Security-Policy.

The site you are reading this on was rebuilt from the tokens up over the last week, in 39 releases, each one deployed behind a health check. It now markets one bot, SeshBot, and the dashboard behind it shows every setting the bot actually has. SeshTunes has retired to a single archive page.

Six stat tiles: 18 library components; 23 dashboard pages; 39 releases in a week; 2 colour modes; 1 Content-Security-Policy; 522 servers and 37.7k members.
The rebuild, by the numbers.

One design system

  • A single component library (buttons, cards, fields, tabs, dialogs, toasts, tables, states) used by every marketing page and every dashboard page. Nothing is styled twice.

  • Dark by default, light by choice. The toggle is in the nav; the choice is remembered per device.

  • One accent colour for SeshBot, purple for the maker tag and Premium, amber only for warnings.

  • A social card, title, description, canonical and breadcrumbs for every page, so a shared link previews properly in Discord and search.

The dashboard

All 23 pages moved onto the library, with a grouped sidebar, a server switcher, a Ctrl-K palette and toasts on every save. Then the pages caught up with the bot:

  • Moderation: Cases (open, edit the reason, lift), Review (appeals and held joiners with approve, kick, ban), Incidents, the warning ladder and the mod-log channel.

  • AutoMod: every detector with its limit beside its switch, the heat model explained in the numbers it uses, log-only rules, channel profiles and an editor for your own, the Discord AutoMod mirror.

  • Anti-insider: all twelve detectors with the bot's real defaults, the trusted list by member search, log-only mode, owner DM, the weekly report, raid mode and the incident list.

  • Settings: audit log routing per category, retention, the daily digest and salvaged attachments; the log type list matches the bot exactly.

  • Commands: the whole tree at /commands, with the permission each command needs, searchable.

Eight tiles naming the pages that changed: home and /commands, dashboard moderation, AutoMod, anti-insider, settings, /changelog, /play, /status.
Where to look.

Changelog pages

Releases are now written as pages like this one, at seshbots.com/changelog, with headings, lists, callouts, images and code. Posting a page sends one embed with the summary, the highlights and a link to every subscribed channel. Subscribe a channel in your server with /changelog.

Under the hood

  • Next 16 with a nonce-based Content-Security-Policy: inline scripts without the request's nonce do not run.

  • The animation library and the old utility bridge are gone; the dashboard pins its own theme.

  • A status page at /status that covers the website, the bot, its API, Discord and the game servers.

  • Nightly encrypted backups of every database and config, copied to a second box, and a fix this week for the one that had quietly stopped.

Premium is boost-based

Premium features unlock by boosting The Sesh Shed; there is no subscription. The /premium page explains what the tier adds. Everything here is paid for out of pocket; if you want to chip in, /donate is there and never required.
